Please note: The report “Living. Moving. Breathing. Ranking of European Cities in Sustainable Transport” by Santhosh Kodukula, Dr. Frederic Rudolph, Ulrich Jansen und Eva Amon has been revised after having been published on May 22nd 2018 first, because an error in the calculation of road safety was identified. In addition, the air quality data reported for Budapest and Moscow have been revised along with parking prices in Budapest. These changes have no impact on the ranking of the cities with the exception of Budapest’s rank in Mobility Management.

Statement by Oliver Lah, Head of Research Unit Mobility and International Cooperation, Wuppertal Institut (https://wupperinst.org/en/), on June 1st 2018: “The errors have now been corrected and we have rechecked the data. The report and the excel file have been rechecked and we can confirm that the data collected and used is correct and relates to the sources mentioned in the respective section of the report.”

This report is the result of research commissioned by Greenpeace.
